(Credit: Sasha Gulis) Bamboo Shoots are a five-piece, Brooklyn-based band with plenty of attitude. Their sound is a pop-rock, not unlike, say, a less-glam Cobra Starship , but embellished by the musical traditions of the group’s South Asian heritage. Songs like “Hey Girl,” and “Where The Ocean Meets” are passionate, rhythmically dynamic tracks filled with longing and heart.
