Although their musical style has its roots in the skiffle and rock and roll 1950, the group worked with different genres ranging from Tin Pan Alley to psychedelic rock. Their clothes, styles and statements pioneers, while increasing social awareness saw their influence extend into the social and cultural revolutions of the 1960s. After the group broke up in 1970, the four members held a successful solo career.
