Oasis is an English rock band, which is formed in Manchester in 1991. The group was composed of Liam Gallagher (vocals), Paul Arthur (guitar), Paul McGuigan (bass) and Tony McCarroll (drums), soon Liam’s older brother came up and joined Noel Gallagher (lead guitar, lead vocals). Oasis has sold more than 50 million records around the world, UK-eight-to-point and 15 Hits NME Awards, Brit Awards and 5 Q 9 awards. The Gallagher brothers are the leaders of the songs on tape and the only permanent members. This list is completed by guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell and unofficial drummer Chris Sharrock.
The group initially gained importance on the circuit of Manchester. They were independent label Creation Records and later released their first album Definitely Maybe in 1994. The following year, the band recorded (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? (1995) with its new drummer Alan White, while counterparts with Blur Britpop rivals in the charts. The brothers Gallagher was featured regularly in the tabloid newspapers for their rivalry and wild lifestyle, culture reputation of Bad Boys and the band as a people. At the height of their fame, Oasis releases its third album, Be Here Now (1997). It was the fastest selling UK album chart in the history, but lost much of their long-term use after the first Hype welcomed and temperate. The group suffered a dramatic drop in popularity in America and has lost two longstanding members Paul Arthurs and Paul McGuigan between recording and sharing Standing on the Shoulders of Giants (2000) and Heathen Chemistry (2002).
Their sixth album Don’t Believe the Truth with Zak Starkey (2005), despite the turbulence host, has been more and better preserved in an album decade. The following year, the group released a compilation album title Stop the Clocks. In February 2007, Oasis received the BRIT Award for outstanding contribution to music. Dig Out Your Soul, the seventh studio album the band is on sharing, on 6 October 2008, with the first single from this album, “The Shock of the Lightning,” which is released on 29 September 2008. For the upcoming tour the band enlisted Chris Sharrock.
