Stanley Kirk Burrell (born March 30, 1962), better known by his name MC Hammer and Hammer, is an African-American multi-platinum MC and dancer, most popular during the late 1980s to mid-1990, known for his spectacular rise and fall of fame and fortune and his trademark Hammer Pants. He became a preacher of the 1990 and 2008 working as a co-initiator of a site of dance, television and CEO, always do occasionally at concerts and other functions in addition to their own reality show.
Previously, life in Tracy, California, who now lives in Oakland with his wife Stephanie for 23 years and six children, three boys and three girls (now in college). Throughout his career, MC Hammer has made its own recordings, Oaktown Records.
Although considered a pioneer of rap music (or “pop rap”) at a given time, due to its wide appeal since the late 1980s, it was later deemed a” sell-out by many rappers. But BET classified Hammer as the # 7 best dancer of all time.
