Red Hot Chili Peppers, is a Los Angeles, California, U.S. rock band, consists of nine studio albums, one live album, three compilation albums, one EP, two box sets, four video-disc, forty-two singles, thirty-five music videos . This list does not include solo material performed by guitarist John Frusciante.
Red Hot Chili Peppers released their first three albums as well as non-commercial in the mid-1980s. It was not until thier fourth album “Mother’s Milk at 1989, the group received critical attention when the album reaches number fifty-two on the Billboard Top 200. After the release of Blood Sugar Sex Magik in 1991 the Chili Peppers broke in the mainstream. The album finally sold over seven million copies in the United States and thirteen million worldwide and was sold to a base of alternative rock of the 1990s. Frusciante left the band soon after and the band put Dave Navarro and released One Hot Minute album in 1995. Despite modest success, it was a critical and commercial failure in comparison to Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Frusciante of Red Hot Chili Peppers meets in 1998 and rejoined, they released their seventh album, Californication, in 1999, followed by “By The Way (2002) and “Stadium Arcadium” (2006). To date, the Red Hot Chili Peppers have sold over fifty million albums worldwide.
